![]() I'm just pitching and seeing what happens, I can help with ideas and game mechanics (I have a few ideas for a battle system), but I never could figure out how to work RPG maker. Of course, if anyone's actually serious about this, I'd gladly help. I honestly think RPG Maker is the better choice, unless someone has some mad skill with Game Maker and can replicate Dissidia in 2D. And though the story structure in Mugen is essentially the same as Dissidia, would anyone honestly want to play a straight fighting game with a complex story? I'm told those things don't mix. ![]() ![]() Well, I have a few years' experience with RPG Maker 2003, but I doubt anyone wants to use that when there's XP and VX - of course, with 2K3, there's a ton of graphics out there, at the cost of it being a bit more difficult to use.Īs for Mugen? Well, there's the issue with graphics - there would have to be a lot of good spriters to do the required graphics for a fighting game - even if we just edit sprites from other games, that's quite a few characters to do.
